We use many of the finest ingredients when preparing our products, but the key ingredient in everything we do is quality.
We make our own pastry, using organic flour and Italian lard. It’s this that gives every pie its special melt-in-the mouth consistency.
Our fillings bring together primarily Scottish ingredients, including home-grown vegetables, and the right balance of seasonings to bring out the true flavour of the meats, game and poultry at the heart of our pies.
The jelly with which we hand-fill every pie takes some seventeen hours of gentle simmering to ensure a moist and flavoursome filling.
All our pies are prepared in small batches to ensure consistency and attention to detail.
